THE WORKFLOW DESK

Privacy Policy

Effective 10 October 2026

This is the privacy policy for The Workflow Desk and the pages at www.theworkflowdesk.cloud. It says, in plain English, what we collect, why, who it goes to, and what you can do about it. Questions: hello@theworkflowdesk.cloud.

1. What we collect

  • What you give us. Your email address when you request a free download or join the list. Your name, email and billing details when you buy something. Card numbers go straight to our payment processor (Stripe); we never see or store them.
  • What your device sends. Standard technical data when you visit — IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open, the time, and the site that referred you — collected through cookies and similar tools described in section 4.
  • What you send us. Anything you write to us by email or in a reply.

2. Why we use it

  • To deliver what you asked for — the download, the product you bought, the receipt.
  • To send you emails you signed up for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; order emails (receipts, downloads, updates) don't need one. Unsubscribing never affects a purchase.
  • To run the site, keep it secure, and fix what breaks.
  • To understand which pages and ads work, so we can spend less on the ones that don’t (section 4).
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax records for sales.

3. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that run this site, each bound by its own privacy terms:

  • systeme.io — hosts these pages, stores the email list, sends our emails and runs the checkout.
  • Stripe — processes payments. Stripe’s handling of your card details is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy. If you pay with Apple Pay or Klarna where the checkout offers it, that provider also handles the details it needs for that payment, under its own privacy policy.
  • Meta Platforms — receives the Meta Pixel data described in section 4 for ad measurement and targeting.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it, and a successor business if The Workflow Desk is ever sold.

4. Cookies and the Meta Pixel

This site uses cookies and the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. When you visit, the Pixel may tell Meta that a page was viewed, a download was requested, a checkout was started or an order was placed, along with the technical data in section 1 and, if you are logged into Facebook or Instagram, an identifier for your account. Meta uses this to measure our ads and to show ads to people likely to be interested. Meta’s own use of that data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.

Your choices: you can control ad personalisation in your Facebook ad preferences, opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at optout.aboutads.info, block cookies in your browser, or use a tracker-blocking extension. The site works without the Pixel. The site does not change what it does when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We don’t currently run a cookie-consent banner; if your local law requires opt-in consent before this kind of tracking, the opt-out routes above apply, and we’ll add consent gating before running ads into those regions.

5. How long we keep it

Email-list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Technical logs for a short, rolling period set by the hosting service.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Economic Area) you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sharing described in section 4. Email hello@theworkflowdesk.cloud and we’ll act on it within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for exercising a right.

7. Children

This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you think we have, email us and we’ll delete it.

8. Security

Pages are served over HTTPS, payments run through Stripe, and access to the email list is limited to the people who run The Workflow Desk. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you as the law requires.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced by email to the list.
